Rupert Harding
I am a British communications coach and the founder of Studia Training.
For more than 20 years, I have worked with public, private and third-sector organisations across fields ranging from financial services, law and technology to infrastructure, healthcare and public administration.
I work with the material and situations my clients are actually dealing with, from presentations and meetings to difficult texts and complex discussions.
I studied at Oxford and have spent most of my professional career in Finland.
How I work
Most assignments begin with a specific need.
Preparation
An important presentation, international meeting, negotiation or other situation where the message needs to be clear and well-structured.
Demanding content
Structuring complex issues so that the audience gets the background they need and can follow the whole picture.
Longer development
Ongoing support for situations where English is part of international work and communication requirements change.
We work with a real-world situation, identify what the audience needs to understand, and prepare communications accordingly. Coaching can be provided to individuals or small groups, online or face-to-face.
Studio Training
The work is based on real needs and the client's own material.
It can mean preparing for a meeting or presentation, practicing explaining a difficult topic, working on a text, or developing your communication skills over a longer period of time. The goal is to build a message that works for the audience it is intended for.
